Annapurna base camp trek is a very well-known trek due to its spectacular views, fascinating local cultures, and logistical ease. The Annapurna Himalayas is a vast collection of several peaks above 7,000m, which give life to the spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary. The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himalayas, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhre, are arranged almost precisely in a circle with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the centre.

Annapurna, to which we had gone empty handed, was a treasure on which we should live the rest of our days. With this realization we turn the page: a new life begins. There are other Annapurnas in the lives of men.

Experience

Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then trek ascend all the way to the lap of Mt. Annapurna. During the trek we pass through some of the beautiful villages of Gurung and meet the locals people, get an astonishing view of mighty Annapurna and others mighty peaks such as Annapurna I (8,091m / 10th highest), Manaslu (8,156m / 8th highest) and Machapuchhre (holy mountain fishtail). During the winter, the number of trekkers reduces due to the walking being both difficult and hazardous because of the heavy snowfall. Entering a narrow valley, we pass directly below Machhapuchhre before reaching the Sanctuary, which is considered a home for the Gods. The combination of pretty villages and farmland at Ghandrung, set against the panorama of high peaks beyond makes this one of the most picturesque treks in Nepal. This is a Moderate trek offering close-up mountain views and diverse trekking terrain.
Enjoy the classic journey to one of the most charismatic trekking destination of the world.
We have two itineraries based on how much time do you have. One short 10-Day classical ABC itinerary. Another one slightly longer, but covering Poon hill (with amazing views of Dhaulagiri) as well.
