Rustik Travel with its partners is conducting a photography workshop in the picturesque locale of Mukteshwar in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Mukteshwar is a further 40 km from Nainital and is a perfect place for nature, bird and night photography. Prominent snow capped mountains of the Himalayas including Trishul, Chaukhamba, Pancha Chuli offer stunning view. This contrasting with the dense green of the forests and deep blue of the skies is a paradise for someone who loves to compose that perfect photograph. The night skies are typically crystal clear and perfect for those long exposures. Not to mention the flora and fauna.

The Earth is art, the photographer is only a witness.

This workshop will help you learn the nuancies of landscape, nature and portrait photography with Saurabh Sawant and Ramit Singal.

Saurabh Sawant is a well-known naturalist and an accomplished photographer. His work has been published in various media and has received many accolades. Although his body of work includes many different kinds of photography, he is mainly interested in nature and wildlife photography & film-making.
He is an experienced photography trainer and has led several workshops and wildlife travels across India. He has also worked on wildlife conservation projects with different organizations and is a recipient of the prestigious Carl Zeiss Conservation Award, 2015

Ramit Singal is a well-known naturalist and has traveled extensively across the country in search of birds, mammals, frogs and more. Recipient of the prestigious Carl Zeiss Conservation Award in 2015, he has a keen interest in photography as well. Previously, he has worked on various conservation projects and has authored a book on the birds of Manipal and co-authored a CD on frog calls. Mukteshwar is like second home to him.
