While technically Daman and Diu is a Union Territory now merged with Dadra and Nagar Haveli and not part of the state of Gujarat, the proximity to the state makes it easier to visit that has one of the most tranquil and scenic beaches of India. Daman, the capital city is a simple town with bustling streets, ancient stone wall and the vast sea perfect for a short vacation. Diu is a small beautiful island with powdery white beaches and the unique Portuguese architecture.

How To Get There (Daman):
The best way to reach Daman is by boarding a train till Vapi which is around 12 kilometers from Gujarat. Then hire an auto rickshaw till the toll gate of Daman and then further take another auto to reach the desired destination in this city.
Best Time To Visit (Daman): August – October (During the Monsoons).
How To Get There (Diu):
Take a flight from any of the major cities of Delhi to Diu Airport which is located at a distance of 65 kilometers from the temple or take a ride in the train till Veraval which is just 6 km away.
Places To Visit: Fort Jerom, Bom Jesus Church, Zampa Gateway, Lighthouse, Jampore Beach, Devka Beach, Gangeshwar Temple, Nagoa Beach.
